Biography
Mrs. Lita Dahilig Barraquias Vergara is a product of Silliman University with a degree of BEED in the year of 1969. After she passed the Civil Service Exam the following year, she became a permanent teacher in Tambo Elementary School for fifteen years. She has had a lot of significant achievements throughout her career as a teacher. First, she was awarded as an Outstanding Elementary Grade Teacher in 1983. Then, she became the English DLA, District Leaders Assistant in the district of Ayungon in 1985. Finally, she was promoted to Master Teacher 1 to Master Teacher II until her retirement in 2004. But it wasn’t the end of her journey. In the year 2005, she finished a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in West Negros College, Bacolod City. With the invitation of Mrs. Yolanda Elum, Mrs. Lita Dahilig Barraquias Vergara is now one of the subject teachers of Negros College Senior High School Department teaching Social Sciences and Filipino.
