Biography
A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Commerce Major in Accounting, a Master in Business Administration and a Doctor in Business Administration, Sir Jose Juvileo Acabal is an inspiring college instructor. Before he achieved his titles, he was the class valedictorian in the year 1980 at South Poblacion Elementary School, Ayungon, Negros Oriental. He finished his secondary education at Foundation University Dumaguete City in 1984 as the Principal’s Awardee and graduated college in the same school as Cum Laude in 1988.
Sir Jose Juileo has been a member in different organizations. Firstly, he became a member of Central Visayas Electric Cooperatives Association (CEVECA) from 2011 to 2017. Finally, he is a member of Negros Oriental Electric Cooperative, Inc. (NORECO 1) since February 2009 up to present and a secretary of Negros Power Supply Aggregation Group (NPSAG) since 2010 up to present.
He has been into different work fields, too. He was a Staff Auditor in Sycip, Gorres, Velayo & Co. (1988-1990), Accounting Assistant (1991-1993), Credit Consultant (1993-1995), Visayas Credit Consultant (1995-1998), Customer Care Representative in Kodak Philippines, Ltd. (March 1998-September 1998), Vice-Chairman in Ayungon Water District (1999-2003), Local Government Unit-Ayungon SB Member twice (2004-2007, 2007-2009), Staff Assistant (Feb. 2009-August 2009), Acting Finance Services Manager (2009-2010) and NORECO 1 General Manager (2010 – present). Dr. Jose Juvileo Acabal is truly an inspiration.
