This course uses insights from Anthropology, Political Science and Sociology to develop students’ awareness of cultural, social and political dynamics, and sensitivity to cultural diversity.
Statistics and Probability
This subject includes the study of measures of central tendency and dispersion, finite probability, probability distributions, statistical inferences from large and small samples, linear regression and correlation.
Reading and Writing Skills
Connects reading to vocabulary acquisition and to the production of the academic-style essays containing references.
Personal Development
The context includes but is not limited to development of self-esteem, a personal value system and self-discipline by developing positive coping skills to deal with physical, emotional, intellectual and social changes in self and others.
