This course concentrates on concepts and issues, such as the nature of value, duty, right and wrong, good life, human rights, social justice, and applications to selected problems of personal and social behaviour. It aims to help students better understand themselves and the world they live in and enable them to navigate through the challenges of life. At the end of the course, the students are able to reflect on their daily experiences, acquire critical and analytical thinking skills, apply their critical and analytical thinking skills to the affairs of daily life, become truthful, environment- friendly and service- oriented, actively committed to the development of a more humane society, and articulate their own philosophy of life. Over – all, the learners should be able to demonstrate a capacity for critical and analytical reflection from the perspective of a holistic and profound vision of life.
