ORIENTATION

An integral in providing the freshmen and new students a strong academic expectations in making their transition from high school to college easier. It is an opportunity for the students to learn how things work in their new school environment and meet other students as well as faculty and staff members.

JOB ENTRY SKILLS TRAINING (JEST)

Job Entry Skills Training (JEST) is a one day workshop aspiring to equip graduating students with necessary skills and information needed to enter the workforce and to learn the in and outs of work. It allows the students gain valuable experiences and a potential for high paying jobs and higher ranking positions.

Resource speakers with expertise on the salient points of recruitment, selection and hiring process for Top Quality Employees are invited.

SSG LEADERSHIP TRAINING

 Leadership is more than science. Principles of leadership are constant but the application changes with every leader and every situation!

Generally, this training is conducted in order to develop and or enhance the management and leadership knowledge, skills, and attitude of elected Supreme Student Government (SSG) Officers. In particular, that training commits to align the programs, projects and activities of Negros Academy & Negros College, Inc., SSG.

RECOLLECTION

Recollection highlights on strengthening the students’ spiritual information and morale behavior. Meaningful activities such as sharing of experiences and sentiments, reflections while listening to religions music, and moments of prayer were conducted for the students to have a deeper understanding of purpose and find the Lord’s presence in their experiences. This enrichment program provides a means for all graduating students to realize the importance  of building harmonious relationship with fellow students and discover   meaningfully their core values as Christians.

PRE-BOARD EXAMINATION

The administration of Pre-Board examination to the Fourth year students is an excellent way of assessing the learnings taught within the time span of their education as well as preparing them for possible board examination questions.

INTRA-INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIP TRAINING (IPR)

It is conducted to build competence in developing realistic sense of self and emotions, ability to poster and maintain health, mutually beneficial relationship with others as well as the capacity for interdependence and collaboration.

It also boosts self confidence in terms of engaging  with people in an effective and efficient manner.

EDUCATIONAL TOUR

Educational tour for faculty and staff of Negros Academy and Negros College helps widen their horizons of knowledge and broadening the scope of their syllabus thus, utilizing different teaching styles and strategies in order to improve teaching practice. It also fosters connection  and positive relationship among co-workers and allows collaborative group tasks and team building.

EXPLORING POSSIBILITIES. The NANCI faculty and staff take a break from their daily school routines and travel to different parts of the country and outside to widen their learning perspectives.
