Details About How To Apply

If you would like to study in a college where education is free, you are choosing the right place. We do not use special formulas to select students. At Negros College, we look at every single applicant’s application, academic and personal, to select students who fulfill the school’s mission, vision, and goals.To start your journey at Negros College, continue by reading about our Application Process.

The Application Process

Search for the course or program of your choice.

Navigate to the Undergraduate, Senior High School, or Certificate/Non-Degree pages and read about the courses or programs that are currently offered at Negros College.

Gather necessary documents.

Check out the Admission Requirements. The requirements are categorized according to the type of applicant.

Make sure that you are compliant with the requirements for admission of the course or program you have chosen; otherwise, you will forfeit the P100.00 non-refundable screening fee.

Submit the Form.

At the bottom of the Admission Requirements for your selected student type you will find an “Apply” button that will take you to our online application form. Follow the steps indicated therein and submit to complete the application process.

Check status of Application.

After a day or two, find out the result of your Application for Admission to Negros College by contacting our Admissions office at admissions.nc@nanci.edu.ph or by calling or messaging the Registrar at 0917-317-0700.

Once your application for admission is approved, you shall pay an amount of One Thousand Pesos (P1000.00) for the entrance fee during your enrollment schedule.

Things to Know First

Before looking for the course or program that interests you, you will need:

  • Contact information of the Admissions Office. Our Admissions staff are dedicated to helping incoming students navigate the admissions process.
  • Contact information of a student adviser or counselor who could help you decide on what course or program to pursue. Typically, you will be directed to one of our Deans to discuss your options at NC.
  • Non-refundable P100.00 application fee. Students who are unable to pay the application fee can request a waiver fee.

Admission Requirements

FRESHMEN

  1. Form 138 – SHS report card
  2. Certificate of Good Moral Character signed by the principal of school last attended
  3. An official copy of birth certificate, PSA authenticated
  4. NCI Entrance Test result
  5. NCI English Qualifying Test result
  6. Two (2) pieces 2” x 2” colored ID pictures
  7. For those who graduated With High Honors or With Highest Honors, a “Certification of Honors Received” signed by the SHS Principal
  8. Two (2) long-size brown envelopes
  9. Two (2) window letter envelope with postage stamps
  10. Certificate of Rating (for ALS Graduate)

CONTINUING & RETURNING

Continuing students are students who are enrolled at Negros College for at least two (2) semesters, including the semester or term just ended.

Returning students are students who started college work at Negros College and did not continue to enroll in the following semesters or years but did not enroll in other schools/universities and are now seeking re-admission.

For Continuing and Returning students, there are no additional requirements to enroll. All you need to do is wait for the scheduled enrollment date posted on this website or on the Negros College Facebook page.

TRANSFERS

  1. Honorable Dismissal
  2. Transcript of Records, evaluation copy
  3. Birth Certificate, PSA authenticated
  4. Certificate of Good Moral Character from school last attended
  5. Two (2) pieces 2” x 2” colored ID pictures
  6. Two (2) long-size brown envelopes

FOREIGNERS

  1. Permit to Study from CHED
  2. Letter of Intent to Study at Negros College Inc. indicating the program of choice addressed to the NCI Registrar
  3. Student’s Transcript of Records duly authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post located in the student-applicant’s country of origin
  4. Student Visa or Letter of Approval from the Department of Foreign Affairs for the conversion to Student Visa
  5. Photocopy of the following documents:
    1. Passport page where the point of entry stamp is indicated
    2. Passport page where the personal information is indicated
  6. Two 2” x 2” colored photograph taken not more than six months prior to submission of requirements
  7. Local address, local contact number, sketch of local residence, name of guardian and other reference persons
  8. Two long-size brown envelopes
