The College Registrar

The College Registrar is dedicated to the principles of service, applying both administrative/academic policies and procedures. The office performs the essential roles of supporting, facilitating and promoting the academic mission of Negros College, Inc. by connecting students to the faculty, curriculum and classroom from enrollment to graduation and beyond.

The office provides the organizational structure and technology to ensure a sound and efficient delivery of instruction, allowing the faculty and students to focus on academic achievement and program requirement. Within this structure, the office ensures the adherence to academic policy, preserving academic integrity, safeguarding the security of academic records and effectively provides accessible academic service to constituents. If further supports the administration in the academic policy formulation being the principal office to provide the necessary reports and analysis required for this task.

Functions of the Office of the Registrar:

  1. Attends to the needs, not only of the students, but also of the faculty, personnel, alumni and the general public, relative to the academic functions of the School.
  2. Serves the students before, during and after their stay in the school form the time of application for admission, to every registration, through graduation or withdrawal from the College, and even after they leave the School to pursue careers abroad or in the country.
  3. Screens applicants for admission; issues official transcript of records, diplomas, certificates of graduation; maintains record of students, registers qualified students and attends to the preparations relative to graduation/commencement exercises.
  4. Serve as the information center of admission.
  5. Ensures the reliable management and control of student records.
  6. Instantaneous response to request of internal and external users of the school’s academic records.
  7. Performs such related functions as the management may assign from time to time.

  • Authentication and Validation of School Records

HONORABLE DISMISSAL

 Condition

  1. If a student withdraws voluntarily from the college, he/she is entitled to transfer his/her credentials (honorable dismissal) provided that the dismissal is not due to disciplinary reasons.

 Procedure

  1. Accomplish a clearance form obtained from the Office of the Registrar
  2. Accomplish the Load Revision Form if student is currently enrolled.
  • Obtain the Honorable Dismissal Card or Transfer Credentials from the Office of the Registrar.
