The Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) strand focuses on the basic concepts of financial management, business management, corporate operations, and even agri-business.

This strand can lead you to careers in:

  • Accountancy: Accounts payable clerk, bookkeeper, budget analyst, internal auditor, chief financial officer, accountant, etc.
  • Business Administration: Loan officer, administrative assistant, community-service manager, market-research analyst, financial adviser, and statistician
  • Agribusiness: This includes agriculture-related activities that place farmers, processors, distributors, and consumers within a market system of agricultural products. The Department of Trade and Industry is looking into transforming agricultural farming into a thriving agribusiness-driven sector.

Prerequisites

To enroll in the Accountancy, Business, and Management strand, all you must to do is present proof to the Senior High School Registrar that you have completed Grade 10 and that you have passed the National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE).
