Computer Technology

The Associate in Computer Technology (ACT) is a two-year program that provides students with relevant knowledge on information and communication technology.

ACT graduates may continue to on to 4-year+ degree programs such Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems.

Graduates may also take up careers as Computer Systems Analyst, Network & Computer System Administrator, Computer Support Analyst, data encoder, junior programmer, web developer, call center agent, or IT sales clerk.

Prerequisites

To be accepted into the ACT program, you have to present to the Registrar proof of the following:

  • Have an overall GPA of 80% and above on the Grade 12 report card
  • Final grade of 80% and above in both English & Mathematics on your Grade 12 report card
  • Passed the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or equivalent
