Biography

Dr. An-an A. Mahinay had a lot of experiences that made her grow personally and professionally from the time she was officially connected to Negros College, Inc. last June 2012. Despite of her young age but with outstanding qualifications, she was then eventually promoted as Director for Student Affairs and even holds another position as Safety Officer before. Currently, she is the Dean of the College of Education, where she manages the courses Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd), Bachelor of Technical-Vocational Teacher Education (BTVTEd), and Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECEd). She is also one of the members of the Board of Trustees as Treasurer of the aforementioned institution in the time being.

She holds a degree in Bachelor of Science in Nursing and graduated as Cum Laude last 2008 at Central Philippine Adventist College of Murcia, Negros Occidental. She took Education units in the same school she is working with right now. She is very driven to acquire a much higher level of education; hence, she pursues on her post-graduate studies. She eventually finished a Master in Nursing Major in Leadership in Nursing last 2010 at Northern Negros State College of Science and Technology at Sagay City, Negros Occidental. Then on year 2018, she finally completed her Doctor of Education degree at St. Paul University Dumaguete of Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.

She is a Registered Nurse and a Licensed Professional teacher at the same time. Even though she majority practices her later license but she made sure that in given opportunities, she volunteered also as a nurse in some medical missions.

Apart from the above, she had kept a keen interest in making some do-it-yourself stuffs and enjoy watching movies. In spite of being busy always, she still able to juggle all her responsibilities at work and at home as a family-oriented individual through God’s guidance.
