TESDA’s Distribution of Starter Toolkits

TESDA’s Distribution of Starter Toolkits

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) provides accessible technical and vocational education and training programs. To further enhance its impact, TESDA has implemented a groundbreaking initiative: the distribution of starter toolkits to qualified graduates of its training programs. This innovative approach seeks to empower aspiring workers, boost their employability, and stimulate economic growth across the country.

Mr. Joel M. Villagracia, Negros Oriental Provincial Director, personally handed the starter tool kits of TESDA in the form of tools for welding to the beneficiaries of our 25 step scholars of Negros College in Ayungon last August 2.

Additionally, present at the distribution event were Negros College Assessment Centre Manager Shirley Opada, Processing Officer Elt Kim Benlot, Social Media and Marketing Assistant Geliea Elen Amantillo, TESDA CTEC Focal Dr. Pepito Piral, and Community Training and Employment Coordinator (CTEC) Chris Calumba in the capacity of Mayor Dennis Amancio.

The purpose of the TESDA Starter Toolkit was to aim at providing our 25 Step Scholars of TESDA’s training programmes with the tools and equipment they need to kickstart their careers. Under this programme, a set of tools and equipment is created for their training and distributed to the TESDA students to make sure they have everything they need to put their talents to use.

The TESDA’s dedication to providing full support to TVET graduates in the Philippines is shown by the distribution of starting toolkits. This effort, which reduces barriers to work and entrepreneurship, not only enables individuals but also improves the country’s economy. This programme holds the potential for a better future for countless hopefuls across the country as TESDA seeks to enhance and expand it.
