Biography

Mrs. Jovelyn R. Melancholico is a permanent English Teacher of the DEPARTMENT of EDUCATION for 12 years now. She is currently assigned at AYUNGON NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL as Grade 8- Melancholico Adviser, Grade 8- English subject teacher and the designate SCHOOL PAPER ADVISER in ENGLISH (SPA- English). Thus, she and her journalists had gone up to the Regional Press Conference for several times. She has also been appointed as a Secretary of the Negros Oriental School Paper Advisers Association (NOSPAA) First Congressional District.

She finished her Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English degree at Saint Paul College, Dumaguete City. Year 2007 when she was hired as an English Teacher and a Third year Adviser of Negros Academy and a part-time English instructor of Negros College. She held various activities related in English which demonstrate competence among her students. While at NA/NC she took units in Masters of Education Management (MAEM) at NORSU, Guihulngan Campus. After gaining 3 her units in MAED, she took another unit in Master of Arts in English (MA-ENG) at NORSU Main Campus, Dumaguete City.

Her passion to teach always drives her to do the tasks bestowed upon her with enthusiasm and excellence. Ma’am Jov stands firm with her belief that “never stop learning, for life never stop teaching”.
