Industrial Arts

Subjects under this track follow the TESDA curriculum. IA will provide the skills and knowledge on carpentry, automotive servicing, driving, electronics repair, electrical installation, welding, plumbing, and tile setting.

If pursuing an undergraduate degree in college, you can take up industrial engineering, mechanical designing, applied technology, or mechanical engineering.

After graduation, you can work as painter, pipe filler, welder, mason, pottery maker, shoemaker, foreman, or bag maker. If you got the guts and capital to start a business venture, you can open a hardware, masonry shop, souvenir shop, or building contractor.

Prerequisites

To qualify for the TVL-IA strand, all you have do is present to the SHS Registrar proof that you finished Grade 10 and passed the NCAE.
