Caring for your health
The primary role of the Negros College Health Services program is to provide basic care for students, faculty and staff during emergencies. It also promotes total health awareness through its Medical Bulletin boards strategically located near the Medical clinic.
Specifically, the Medical and Dental clinics offer the following services:
- Provide first aid or emergency care to sick or injured students.
- Assess students, to detect early signs and symptoms of health problems, which will affect learning.
- Monitor and maintain growth and development of students.
- Administer nursing care appropriate to the identified nursing needs of the students.
- Plan, implement and evaluate health education activities for students.
- Provide annual dental checks for all students.
All students are encouraged to seek health consultation whenever they feel sick or have symptoms of being sick.
