This subject aims to provide learners with an understanding of promoting services and products in the food and beverage sector.  Learners need to understand the different factors that impact service as well as the importance of and how to provide a positive meal experience for different types of services.

This will help the learner achieve the required competency in promoting food and beverage products and providing foods and beverage services to guests. Furthermore, this will aid the learner in aid the learner in acquiring the competency at his or her own pace, independently.
