affiliations

At Negros College, we value relationships from various stakeholders as we believe these are vital endeavors in creating and enhancing our students’ academic and technical learning experiences and opportunities. We create important linkages among national agencies, local government units, local businesses, colleges and universities, and community organizations giving our students greater access to resources outside the classroom and thereby expanding our presence in the community.

Our Partner Organizations

Commission_on_Higher_Education_(CHEd)

Commission on Higher Education (CHED)

Strong partnership with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in the form of facilitating and implementing the government’s Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education or UniFAST. At NC, all college students have availed the program and benefited free higher education.

Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)

TESDA’s programs and services provided the opportunity for everyone to enroll for free on short-term courses like welding, food production, and computer hardware servicing and obtain National Certification that they can use to apply for jobs here and abroad or start their own businesses. NC is reaching to the community to transform and improve the lives of the poor and underserved citizens of our country.

Department of Education (DepEd)

The Department of Education has been and will always be a strong partner with Negros College in providing access to our education students for their practice and demo teaching requirements and eventually providing teaching jobs after our graduates pass the rigorous hiring process.

MunicipalityOfAyungon

Local Government of Ayungon

The partnership between Negros College and the LGU-Ayungon has always been formidable in providing highly experiential on-the-job trainings for office administration students. This partnership is built on trust to develop the youth of the town into leaders of tomorrow who will man the operations of providing the basic services to the people of the Local Government of Ayungon.

local business

Local Businesses

Local businesses are stakeholders and are valuable partners for Negros College. These businesses can be a source of career guidance, apprenticeship, internship or part-time job opportunities for our students. These types of activities can make learning more relevant by providing real-world examples, skills-based training, highlight employability skills like teamwork, communication, and presentation skills among others. On the other hand, local businesses will also gain from this partnership as they will have now access to the pool of young talents for future hiring, enhance their business visibility and presence, and the feeling of personal satisfaction that comes with helping these students achieve their full potentials.
