An introductory course designed to allow students to explore the basic concepts of physical science. The students will be introduced to the history and the nature of science.

Physical Science is the study of the inorganic world. That is, it does not study living things. The four main branches of physical science are Astronomy, Physics, Chemistry, and Earth Science which includes Meteorology and Geology. The following are the things that you will be learning from the subject:

  • How elements found in the universe were formed
  • How the idea of atom, along with the idea of the elements evolved
  • How the properties of matter relate to their chemical structure
  • How chemistry contributes to the understanding of household and personal care products
  • Discovering that the Earth is not the center of the Universe.
  • Why the laws of physics are universal?
