Dahunog Festival King and Queen highlights Founders Day 2022

BJ Sequijod and Daryjean Maputi bested other candidates and were crowned Dahunog Festival King and Queen 2022 held last January 21 streamed live via the Negros College official Facebook Page.

Seguijod who represented the Senior High School department of Negros Academy also received the Best Speaker and Best in Festival Costume Awards. Maputi on the other hand, a Junior high-schooler, also won the Best Speaker and Best in Festival Costume minor awards.

BSOA Festival King BB Mari Mariño and SHS Festival Queen Jastine Mae Tapil were both named First Runner-up, while JHS Festival King Jarth Andrei Gabotero and BSOA Festival Queen Kayze Mae Tinio ended the night as second runners-up.

The Dahunog Festival is an annual event showcasing the confidence and skills beyond beauty and charisma of NC students. This is celebrated every January to highlight the school’s foundation day.
